Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing - The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Phuentsholing – Thimphu
(Distance: 176 kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2350 mts.)

After breakfast complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Thimphu Sightseeing – Paro
(Distance: 65 kms. / Driving Time: 2 hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts.)

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), King's Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon transfer to Paro (7,483 ft.). On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Paro.

Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast start full day sightseeing covering Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities, Rinpung Dzong - the administrative seat of the district of Paro. Afternoon visit Drukgyel Dzong - The Dzong was destroyed by fire in 1951 and is now preserved as heritage site & Kyichu Lhakhang - one of the oldest Buddist temples in Bhutan . Overnight stay at Paro.

Paro – Phuentsholing
(Distance: 200 kms. / Driving Time: 7 hrs. / Altitude of Phuentsholing: 293 mts.)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing

Phuentsholing – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport

  • Due to shortage of power the guest sometimes, may have to bear it with candle light.
  • Category of Rooms in the packages normally remains to deluxe / super deluxe rooms.
  • For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but some hotels only provide a roll out bed and have no provision of an extra bed
  • Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services
  • Child sharing parent’s room will not be provided an extra bed.

    • Permit for Bhutan:

    Indian nationals do not require any visa for Bhutan. A permit will be issued at the entry point on production of a passport or Voter ID and 04 passport size photographs.

    At Bhutan immigration:

  • Passport Size Colour Photograph (2 Numbers)

    • In case of not holding the above document, you need to approach to the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for getting permission for entry into Bhutan. The following documents are required at the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for identification of Indian Citizenship

  • School / college Identity Card with Photo for those who are less than 18 Years
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Bank passbook with photo attested
  • Please check with your mobile service provider for charges related to Bhutan

    • Note: Indian Embassy is closed on Saturday & Sunday. Permit on Saturday & Sunday is issued by Main Gate office, Department of immigration, Phuentsholling, Bhutan.

    Don’ts:

  • Do not carry Indian INR 500/- or INR 1000/- Currency Notes. It is Illegal.
  • Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan.
  • Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is Illegal.
  • Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.

    • Child Policy:

    Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked.

  • Child 5 -10 yrs without extra bed as mention in cost column (CNB = Child no Bed)
  • Above 10 years / Extra adult with an extra bed sharing room are same & charged as per (EPSR)
  • Request permission before taking photographs of people, events or objects.
  • Inside the premises of Temples, Monastery, photographs are not permitted.
  • Photographs is only permitted in the court yard area.
  • Artifacts or Antiques, large or small, ruined or not, they are regarded as sacred.
  • Please take of hats while entering Temples or Monastery.
  • Shorts / Half Pants are not permitted while entering a Temple or Monastery.
  • While in a Dzong, Temple, Monastery, please switch off cell phones or in the Silent / Vibrating Mode.
  • Please speak softly within the religious premises.
